2017 Polar Bear Plunge

About Event

This is a unique opportunity to support local Special Oympics athletes by walking or running into the freezing lake! The Polar Bear Strut regisgtration will begin at 8:00am on Saturday 25th, 2017 at the Osage Beach Police Department. Participants must raise a minimum of $50.00 by event day. The Polar Bear Strut is a project of the  Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Missouri. The Polar Bear Plunge registration will begin at noon followed by the Parade of Costumes beginning at 2 P.M. and the Plunge beginning at 2:30 P.M. Of course there will be an after party at Tan-Tar-A from 4:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. that you can’t miss out on!

Parking for the Plunge is at Public Beach #2/Grand Glaize Beach.

The Osage Beach Police Department will be hosting a food tent, with all proceeds coming back to SOMO. Please make plans to stop by!
