St. Patricks Day at Lake of the Ozarks
This is your lucky weekend at Lake of the Ozarks! It’ll be a weekend full of festivities on the Lake, literally! Starting at 8:00 AM on Saturday, March 18th there will be a breakfast served at Captain Ron’s before the St. Patricks Day Water Parade or you can skip the breakfast all together and just join in on the parade at 9:30 AM. Either decorate your own boat or hop onto the Celebration Cruise or Tropic Island boats and cruise the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks and end up back at Captain Ron’s (34.5 MM). The Lake West Chamber of Commerce has tickets available for the cruise boats for those not putting a boat in the parade. Visit their website for more information by clicking HERE!
As soon as you get done with the water parade you can begin the St. Patrick’s Day Short Bus Shuffle! The Westside’s 12 best stops! Don’t worry if you can’t handle the full ride there are 6 other lodging places on the way you are more than welcome to try to grab a room or a cabin at but I’d recommend making plans ahead of time!
On Sunday, March 19th at 11:00 AM we can’t forget Osage National St. Patty’s Day Golf Tournament! It’s their Annual event to kick off the season, it’ll be a 3-person scramble. Brunch will be served and prizes after! Tickets are $80 per person or $60 for members which will include a breakfast buffet starting at 9:00 AM, 18 holes of golf with cart, and tee gift! Visit their website for more details about the tournament!
Staying in more your pace? You can still get festive with Jane’s Recipe for Corned Beef and Cabbage!
